SimVentions seeks a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer for software systems engineering in aviation programs. This role requires full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in Patuxent River, MD. An active Secret Clearance is required; Top Secret may be required after starting.

Qualifications

At least two years experience in software or systems engineering.
Knowledge of avionics systems.
Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software requirements.
Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
Conduct analysis of software defects.
Coordinate with cybersecurity subject Matter experts.
Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
Support the ECP process and SOW/CDRL review.
Participate in Agile and SAFe team processes.
Develop IGCEs and support contractor evaluations.
