Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer to support software systems engineering for aviation programs.

The role requires on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD, with a Secret clearance and potential upgrade to Top Secret in the future. The candidate should have at least two years of software or systems engineering experience, knowledge of avionics systems, and BS in a technical ABET-accredited program.

Qualifications

• Two years of software or systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of avionics systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Conduct analysis of software defects.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity SMEs.
• Participate in SE Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Support the ECP process and prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and CDLRs.
• Develop IGCEs and support contractor proposal evaluations.
