Job summary

IBC Bank is seeking a Systems Administrator to upgrade, maintain, and support our server, desktop, and data center infrastructure. The role requires diagnosing and resolving issues across Windows servers, AD/Exchange, and virtualization platforms, with after-hours support as needed.

You will work with Engineers and Tier II staff to monitor system health, manage backups, and ensure data protection and disaster recovery readiness across IBC's information systems.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in IT related field or 5 years experience in Systems Administration.
• Windows OS Server 2012/2016/2019 and Active Directory/Azure AD; Office 365 admin.
• 5 years IT experience with 3 years system administration; relevant certs A+, Net+, MCP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure and operate computer systems, network servers and virtualization.
• Install and upgrade components, manage virtual servers and automate processes.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software, document problems and resolutions with impact assessment.
• Provide identity management and server/app administration for end users (MS Windows, Exchange, O365).
• Perform regular backups and implement data protection, DR, and failover procedures.
• Escalate and support Service Desk efforts and desktop support for PC tech.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Tier II to monitor infrastructure incl. AD and data center.
• Communicate technical concerns clearly to peers and management.
