Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team, supporting Windows and web servers to meet business processing needs. The role emphasizes security, configuration, and operations across multiple environments.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or substantial experience, with 6+ years in related roles, and familiarity with PowerShell, Active Directory, and IIS. Offsite work is supported, with occasional on-site meetings at a Regions office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or a technical training program.
• Or High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of related experience
• CompTIA Security+ certification

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise to the design, planning, implementation, operation, and security of systems
• Oversees the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software
• Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system
• Monitors and maintains continuity with system software licensing and maintenance agreements
• Provides recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgeting
• Drives improvements to processes and design enhancements
• Coordinates, facilitates, and verifies projects across multiple environments
• Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices
