Job summary

ISCorp is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to support Windows and Linux infrastructure across multiple customer environments. This role requires virtualization, automation, security, monitoring, and strong communication to translate technical issues into business terms.

The ideal candidate will be customer-facing, able to drive issues and projects to resolution, and comfortable with on-call duties and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on systems administration in complex environments.
• Strong Microsoft Windows Server and enterprise Linux experience.
• AD, Group Policy, Windows services, Linux services, patching, lifecycle management.
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, connectivity patterns.
• Experience with VMware and/or KVM virtualization.
• Scripting/automation with PowerShell and Bash/Python/Ansible.
• Experience with IIS, Tomcat, or similar web/app servers.
• Ability to document clearly and follow structured procedures.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, IIS.
• Manage Linux servers including Red Hat and other distributions.
• Deploy and support ISV applications and dependencies.
• Support Citrix, RDS, and Parallels RAS for remote access.
• Administer virtualization and cloud platforms (VMware, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Develop automation with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Monitor performance and implement security/compliance controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document runbooks.
