Job summary

IBC Bank is seeking a Computer Technician to install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstation hardware and peripherals. You will manage inventories and support PC configurations across platforms in an in-office role.

The position requires hands-on hardware knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle on-site support across the branch network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates/Bachelor's or technical certification in a related field preferred.
• Ability to install, configure, test, and maintain end-user workstation hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstation hardware and peripherals.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot related software as needed.
• Perform on-site analysis and resolution of complex PC problems and implement hardware solutions.
• Receive and respond to calls, pages, and emails regarding PC issues.
• Maintain inventory of monitors, keyboards, drives, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Monitor and report PC performance and generate statistics.
• Manage PC configurations across platforms and operating systems.
• Conduct research on computer products to support procurement and development.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, peripheral devices
• Where required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user workstation software
• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for end users and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed
• Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or hardware problems
• Develop and maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment
• Monitor and test PC performance and provide PC performance statistics and reports
• Install and test customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems
• Conduct research on computer products in support of PC procurement and development efforts.
• Install software and image PC hardware as needed
• Maintain, order and setup remote devices such as iPhones, iPads and laptops
• Travel within market and to other markets as needed to include overnight stays
• Maintain applicable service level agreement pertaining to department ticket queue
• Responsible for laptop encryption and security
• Responsible for maintaining proper stock level of standard devices ready for deployment
• Responsible for Preventative Maintenance of the Instant Issue Printers
• Responsible for performing health checks in all branches
• Possess a high level of technical skill expertise and ability
• Furthers technical knowledge via self-study and pursue industry standard certifications
