Job summary

WSP is seeking an Early Career Structural Engineer for its Lawrenceville, NJ or Morristown, NJ offices. You will support a Transportation Team on bridges and related structures, with field visits and design tasks as part of a growing, future-focused firm.

Recent graduates’re encouraged; 0–1 year experience and strong MS Office, writing and communication skills are required. This role involves occasional travel and strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related) required.
• 0–1 year of post-education experience.
• Internship/leadership experience or relevant coursework preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and technical writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project research, field work, and design calculations.
• Support preparation of design drawings/plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Work with more experienced engineers to take on broader tasks as you gain experience.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure quality in outputs.
• Contribute to ensuring safety and adherence to company policies.
