WSP is seeking an Early Career Structural Engineer for our Lawrenceville, NJ or Morristown, NJ offices. You will support transportation projects and assist with design calculations, fieldwork and documentation.
This role offers exposure to bridges, sign structures and ancillary structures, with mentorship from experienced engineers and opportunities to develop technical writing and analytical skills. The position requires a Civil Engineering degree, 0–1 year of experience (recent graduates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant post-education experience.
- Internship, leadership experience, or relevant coursework.
- Ability to work in the United States immediately.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and policy adherence.
Responsibilities
- Support engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
- Apply basic principles of Structural Engineering.
- Assist with project research, field work, and design calculations.
- Support preparation of drawings, provisions, and cost estimates.
- Assist more experienced engineers and maintain project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks and travel as required.
