Schillings in St. John, IN is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. The role supports accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting, reporting to the Director of Finance and Accounting.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of experience; QuickBooks and AI tool familiarity are a plus. This on-site position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of AI tools required.
• Retail POS system experience is a plus.
• Able to pass background and credit checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and journal entries.
• Monitor internal controls, procedures and reporting systems.
• Track daily cash balances and forecast needs.
• Assist with financial analysis, month-end close and reporting.
• Coordinate bank transactions and collaborate with teams.
