Job summary

SSA Group is currently seeking a Jr Sous Chef to support our Cincinnati kitchen, helping lead daily operations, prep, and guest-focused service while upholding safety and quality standards across our 452 Hospitality culture.

You will collaborate with the Sous Chef and location leadership to train staff, manage prep lists, and ensure consistent, memorable dining experiences for guests and clients.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in culinary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, welcoming experiences for guests and clients.
• Prepare and staff BOH for daily operation.
• Oversee kitchen duties, safety, quality, and guest service.
• Maintain safety logs and proper hygiene standards.
• Support SSA safety training and knife handling.
• Create daily prep lists and delegate tasks.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain cleaning checklists and participate in menu planning.
