Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or luxury hotel.
• Experience as Sous Chef or lead line cook.
• Strong cooking techniques and kitchen operations knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple stations and assist during busy service.
• Passion for mentoring culinary talent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily hands-on support to restaurant line cooks during service.
• Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations for efficient workflow.
• Coach, train, and mentor line cooks to improve skills.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, portion control.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance.
• Assist with prep, inventory, and cost management.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef to identify operational improvements.
• Support communication between culinary and front-of-house teams.
• Step into various kitchen stations as needed to support service.
