Job summary

NovaSource Power Services in Port Lavaca, TX, seeks a Full-Time PV Plant Technician to maintain and operate utility-scale solar facilities. You will monitor plant performance via SCADA, perform commissioning and testing, and troubleshoot inverters, PV arrays, transformers, and meters.

Requirements include 1 year of related experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Safety procedures, 5S standards, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in a related position.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA.
• Perform commissioning, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting AC/DC systems.
• Repair and modify electrical components: inverters, PV arrays, transformers, switchgear, meters.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and maintain 5S standards.
• Prepare documentation and reports for maintenance activities.
