Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a technically skilled technician for maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV plants in Fort Gaines, GA. You will monitor plant operations via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting and repairs on AC/DC PV systems, and work with inverters, transformers and metering equipment.

The role requires at least 1 year in a related position, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred college/technical training; strong safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College/technical degree preferred; relevant training a plus.
• 1 year of related maintenance/operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation through SCADA and perform commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, repair and modification of AC/DC solar PV systems.
• Work with inverters, PV modules, transformers, switchgear and metering systems.
• Ensure safety procedures and documentation are followed; cooperate with stakeholders.

Education

Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus
