Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Technician I to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV plants in Livingston, TX. Responsibilities include SCADA monitoring, commissioning, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting PV systems including inverters and switchgear.

Candidates should have 1 year of related experience and a high school diploma; college/technical training is a plus. Position requires physical stamina, safety awareness, and ability to work with CMMS tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College or technical degree preferred; relevant training counted.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation via SCADA and perform commissioning/testing of inverters and PV arrays.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC/DC PV systems and metering equipment.
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and Job Hazard Analysis; ensure documentation is complete.
