Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking an on-site maintenance technician to support utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor plant performance, perform commissioning, testing, and repairs on AC/DC systems including inverters and switchgear, and ensure safety standards are followed.

The role requires 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and electrical certifications are a plus. Travel and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related position.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications are a plus.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV power plants.
• Monitor PV plant operation via SCADA and perform testing and repairs.
• Inspect and troubleshoot AC/DC systems, inverters, and switchgear.
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout Tag Out and JHA processes.
• Maintain and update CMMS work orders and documentation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Adhere to 5S standards and site housekeeping requirements.
• Assist with procurement documentation and vendor services.
