Job summary

MBP seeks a Junior Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in the eastern United States. This role supports scheduling on a variety of construction projects, collaborating with project managers, clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate CPM scheduling and clear reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of construction scheduling experience, familiarity with Primavera P6 (and Microsoft Project), and an undergraduate degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction scheduling, project controls, or related construction experience
• Experience supporting transportation projects is strongly preferred
• Developing and/or reviewing schedules for construction projects
• Using Oracle Primavera P6
• Microsoft Project is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform technical reviews of baseline schedules and updates for compliance and reasonableness
• Assist with development and maintenance of CPM baseline schedules and updates
• Review schedule logic, durations, sequencing, constraints, float, progress, milestones
• Analyze drawings, specs, contracts, and statements of work to understand scope and milestones
• Evaluate actual progress and field conditions relative to the schedule
• Identify and communicate schedule variances and risks to milestones
• Assist with evaluation of changes and impacts on the schedule
• Assist with time-extension requests and TIAs
• Support post-construction schedule and delay analyses
• Prepare schedule review comments, reports, graphics, and deliverables
• Participate in project meetings and site visits; occasional overnight travel may be required
