Job summary

MBP in the eastern United States is seeking a Junior Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in Nashville, TN and surrounding states. This entry-level role targets professionals with 2+ years in construction scheduling eager to grow in CPM scheduling, schedule analysis, and project controls.

You will work with project managers, clients, and contractors to support scheduling, communicate findings, and contribute to informed decision-making through clear analysis and reporting across diverse

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction scheduling, project controls, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with transportation/infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical reviews of baseline schedules and updates for compliance and reasonableness.
• Develop and maintain CPM baseline schedules and updates.
• Review schedule logic, durations, sequencing, constraints, critical paths, float, progress, and milestones.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, contracts, and statements of work to understand project scope and milestones.
• Evaluate actual progress and field conditions relative to the schedule.
• Identify schedule variances, risks, and impacts on milestones.
• Assist with changes and TIAs; support post-construction analyses and reporting.
• Prepare schedule review comments, reports, and graphics.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits; occasional overnight travel may be required.
