Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks a Junior Operator to support the Ardmore, OK facility. The role operates assigned plant equipment, troubleshoots processes, and works in a 12-hour rotating shift schedule in a 24-hour operation. Emphasis is on safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, nights and weekends.
• Must have a current, valid US drivers license.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
• Associates degree or higher in Process Technology is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant military experience is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices for safe operation.
• Operate and field check process equipment.
• Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems.
• Perform tasks per a standard task list including field checks and samples.
• Ensure activities align with plant and business goals.
• Use troubleshooting to resolve process deviations and maintain equipment reliability.
• Initiate and participate in Root Cause Investigations as needed.
• Coach and train others on plant operations.
