RTX’s Effector Power Team in Tucson is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer I to design, test, and document power conversion circuitry for non-isolated and isolated converters, with emphasis on board-mounted end-use applications. The role involves supporting design phases from requirements through integration, plus data-driven testing and validation.

We seek a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, experience with converter topologies, and MATLAB/analog electronics skills. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with non-isolated and/or isolated converter topologies (buck, boost, buck-boost).
• Proficiency with MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry.
• Help see circuit card development through design phases from requirements to integration testing.
• Test and validate circuit designs with procedures, data capture and results analysis.
• Guide ECAD drafters on layout and routing with senior engineer support.
