Henderson Engineers seeks an entry-level Plumbing Designer to contribute to basic building systems design across multiple sectors. You will prepare layouts, perform calculations, and coordinate with project teams on diverse facilities from healthcare to education.

The role emphasizes learning and growth within a people-first ESOP environment, with opportunities to engage across business sectors and sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 1 year of experience, or 3 years without degree.
• Basic proficiency in engineering design: knowledge of A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards.
• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu preferred.
• FE exam completion preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and designs basic engineering systems in collaboration with experienced design staff.
• Prepares system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Reviews shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Prepares or modifies reports, plans, and designs for projects.
• Supports business development or pursuit activities.
• Maintains knowledge of common industry software, including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office.
