Amentum is seeking a Software Engineer to support Naval projects in Dahlgren, VA. This role involves developing, integrating, testing, and deploying software for DoW weapons and sensor systems within a cross-functional team.

You will work with C/C++, Java, and/or Python, use Git and Jira, and participate in Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps practices to deliver mission-critical software. Active Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 0–10 years of software development experience.
• Active Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, test, and deploy software in C/C++, Java, and/or Python.
• Support software requirements development, architecture, design, and testing.
• Collaborate on DoW weapon system software development, testing, and deployment.
• Utilize Git, Jira, and static code analysis tools.
• Apply Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps practices.
• Communicate technical information to engineers, customers, and managers.
