Job summary

Amentum is seeking software engineering professionals to support C/C++ development and integration for Naval projects in Dahlgren, Virginia. This on-site role contributes to SLBM systems and the Software Center of Excellence on DoW weapons and sensor systems.

You will join a growing team, apply Agile practices, and work with senior developers to deliver solutions on schedule, while maintaining strong communication with customers and engineering staff. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 0–10 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Agile Development.
• Excellent communication with customers and engineering personnel.
• Active Secret U.S. Government clearance required.
• Valid REAL ID driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform C/C++ software development and integration for Naval projects.
• Contribute to SLBM weapon system development and integration.
• Support senior developers using Agile development practices.
• Apply C and C++ knowledge to software activities.
