Job summary

Amentum is seeking a C or C++ Junior Developer to support software development and integration for Naval projects at Dahlgren, VA. The role involves working with a growing systems and software engineering team to contribute across multiple contracts in support of the Software Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities include developing software in C and/or C++, with 0-5 years of experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. On-site location in Dahlgren, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 0-5 years of experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• C++ or C, and familiarity with Agile Development.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to perform analysis and problem-solving in professional engineering work.
• Ability to work independently and with others within established teams.

Responsibilities

• Software development in C and/or C++ for naval projects.
• Work with Senior Amentum developers in Agile environment.
• Support DoD SLBM-related software development and integration.
