Amentum is seeking software engineering professionals to support C/C++ software development and integration in Naval projects in Dahlgren, Virginia. This on-site role requires collaboration with our Software Center of Excellence to modernize Navy capabilities and ensure mission success.

Candidates should have a degree or equivalent experience, familiarity with Agile practices, and strong communication skills to interact with customers and engineers. An active Secret clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, or related technical field.
• Familiarity with Agile Development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers and engineering personnel.
• Active Secret U.S. Government clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Must have a valid REAL ID driver's license and reliable transportation for travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform software development and integration using C/C++ for Naval projects.
• Support SLBM weapon system software development.
• Work with a Senior Amentum developer in Agile environments.
• Apply knowledge of C and C++ to development activities.
• Analyze problems and collaborate to meet schedule-driven goals.
