Job summary

Strategic Mission Critical is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer/Designer to support mechanical design for mission critical data center projects. You will work under senior staff, perform design tasks using Revit, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on greenfield, brownfield, and fit-out packages.

Ideal candidates have a 2-4 year degree in ME or ME tech, internship experience, and are eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology preferred.
• Internship/co-op experience is a plus.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use Autodesk Revit to produce detailed design documents.
• Assist with airside and hydronic calculations for multiple systems.
• Develop hydronic and airflow diagrams.
• Assist in selecting and specifying HVAC equipment.
• Meet project deadlines and work extra hours when needed.
• Review local and national codes and project specs.
