Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for an onsite role in Downers Grove, IL. You will assist in the design, development, and application of mechanical seals, bearings, tooling, and actuators, while creating drawings and ECNs.

The role involves collaborating with diverse groups, supporting product validation, and maintaining existing products. A BS in Mechanical Engineering is required, with CAD tools like SolidWorks, Inventor, CREO, or CATIA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3D CAD software experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Customers, Suppliers, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality departments.
• Support design, development and application of mechanical seals, bearings, tooling, electromechanical actuators, and other Rexnord Aerospace products.
• Create product definition packages, solid models, drawings and ECNs.
• Support development of product validation packages.
• Participate in RBS events and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and support existing products including non-conformance dispositions and returned material analysis.
