Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Indiana is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to own electro‑mechanical brake product development and drive design improvements. You will collaborate with Design Engineering and cross‑functional teams, lead VAVE initiatives, and prepare detailed customer verification reports.

You will also develop and validate drawings, apply GD&T, perform tolerance analysis, and work directly with customers on new applications. This onsite role travels up to 10% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years in product or process development of industrial products.
• Willingness to work hands-on to build, develop, and troubleshoot new products.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and standards.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate with Design Engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Own content for the electro-mechanical brake product portfolio.
• Lead VAVE initiatives and product improvement projects.
• Prepare customer reports for verification/validation activities.
• Work with customers on new applications and custom designs.
• Create or oversee accurate engineering drawings and GD&T applications.
• Perform tolerance stack-up calculations for multi-component systems.
• Develop product knowledge and apply to customer applications.
• Source, validate, and support components with test lab.
• Prepare BOMs and release ECNs.
• Utilize 3D CAD and FEA tools for design and analysis.
