Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an Application Engineering Co-op to provide mechanical and/or electrical design support. You will translate design concepts into detailed drawings and lead testing, gaining hands-on motor design experience.

The role offers exposure to global teams, development projects, and opportunities to advance responsibilities. The position is fully onsite at a Regal Rexnord office in the United States, designed for a student pursuing an engineering degree.

Qualifications

• The candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field.
• Strong verbal and written communication across global teams.
• Good listening and technical comprehension to develop designs.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Self-directed with a positive attitude.
• Travel: No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing to support customer requests and inquiries.
• Support manufacturing design or process change requests.
• Use and interpretation of analytical and test equipment.
• Exposure to cross-functional teams across the globe.
• Participate in development projects by executing design and documentation.
• Lead design change investigations with expanded responsibilities.
• Work with mechanical design teams to create test plans.
• Manage the 3-D printer, load files/materials, and perform maintenance.
• Document layout drawings, detail drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and design records.
