Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) is seeking an entry-level role in Ohio to support mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities on large projects. You will learn budgeting and bid development, assist in subcontractor selection, and contribute to schedule coordination.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's in ME/EE/Architectural Eng or related field (or equivalent experience) with 0–2 years in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field required.
• Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 0-2 years construction experience or summer internship/co-op preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Completes entry level mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Learns to develop budgetary M/E estimates using automated estimating systems.
• Assists in reviewing mechanical/electrical options during preconstruction and analyzes systems.
• Learns to develop M/E scopes for bid coordination.
