JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group seeks an entry-level mechanical/electrical professional to support budget development, bid coordination, and field construction activities on large industrial and manufacturing projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering, or related field.
• 0-2 years construction experience or summer internship/co-op.
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specs.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic M/E estimation concepts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Completes entry level mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Learns to develop budgetary M/E estimates using automated estimating system.
• Assists in reviewing mechanical/electrical options during preconstruction.
• Learns to develop M/E scopes of work for bid coordination.
• Assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection input.
• Supports sequencing of systems to meet schedule requirements.
• Gains knowledge of design documents to identify quality issues.
