Job summary

JE Dunn Construction, a leading contractor, seeks an entry-level engineer for the Advanced Facilities Group. The role supports mechanical and electrical construction tasks, assists with budgeting, and helps coordinate preconstruction activities on data center and manufacturing projects.

You will learn safety, quality plans, and collaborate with a diverse team while developing skills in bid analysis, scheduling, and constructability reviews. On-site opportunities and mentorship are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years construction experience preferred.
• Willing to learn budgeting, bid processes and options analysis.

Responsibilities

• Learn safety and quality plans and culture by following procedures and mentoring others.
• Assist in entry level mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develop budget estimates based on program and schematic design information using automated estimating system.
• Assist in reviewing mechanical and electrical options during preconstruction and perform systems analysis for select projects.
• Help develop mechanical and electrical scopes of work for bid coordination.
• Support bid analysis and subcontractor selection process.
