Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) seeks an entry-level M/E engineer to support mechanical and electrical coordination on large Industrial projects in Orlando. You will learn to develop budgets, review options, and participate in the bid and constructability processes.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professional growth, with access to mentoring, shop drawing/submittal activities, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architectural engineering or related field (Required).
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.
• 0–2 years construction experience and/or summer internship/co‑op experience in construction (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in all safety and quality plans and culture.
• Completes entry level and routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Learns to develop budgetary M/E estimates using automated M/E estimating system.
• Assists in reviewing mechanical and electrical options in preconstruction and conducts systems analysis.
