Job summary

Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago is seeking a skilled tournant to plan, prep, and deliver quality kitchen service across stations. You will follow established recipes and plating guides, maintain mise en place, and keep your station neat and efficient, meeting the chef's expectations.

Collaborating with sous chefs and kitchen staff, you will contribute to a positive work environment while adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years experience in culinary field required.
• Ability to communicate in English with guest, co-workers and management.
• Previous tournant experience or knowledge of grill, sauté, garde manger, soups, pastry and vegetable prep.
• Desirable: Culinary college degree and sanitation certificate.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of restaurant production as designated.
• Display and present items as directed by the sous chef for service.
• Complete mise en place to satisfy supervisor and sous chef.
• Follow established recipes and plating guides to exact specification.
• Maintain and organize station and equipment in a neat, orderly fashion.
