Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago is seeking a skilled cook to oversee all food preparation, production, and control in the associate dining room/cafeteria, ensuring adherence to hotel standards. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating production, training new associates, maintaining fresh inventories, and keeping a clean, organized work station.
Candidates should have a high school diploma and hotel culinary experience is preferred; additional language ability is a plus.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Hotel culinary experience preferred.
- Additional language ability is strongly preferred.
Responsabilités
- Creates, prepares, produces food items according to associate dining menus.
- Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures proper storage and refrigeration.
- Training new associates on the overall management of the associate dining room.
- Ensures spoilage/waste are kept to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products.
- Maintain a clean, neat and organized work station and associate dining area.
- Set daily pars on all products to ensure freshness.
