Job summary

Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago seeks a culinary professional responsible for all food preparation, production and control for the associate dining room/cafeteria, ensuring quality standards and timely service.

You will coordinate, train new associates, oversee production and operation, and maintain cleanliness and organization, with emphasis on meeting menus and cost controls.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Hotel culinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates, prepares, produces food items according to associate dining menus (40%).
• Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products and ensures proper storage and refrigeration (20%).
• Training new associates on the overall management of the associate dining room (10%).
• Ensures spoilage/waste are kept to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products (10%).
• Maintain a clean, neat and organized work station and associate dining area (10%).
• Set daily pars on all products to ensure freshness (10%).
