Hyatt Regency Chicago is seeking a Cook to join the kitchen team. You will prepare meals to brand standards, assist with station prep, and help maintain cleanliness and safety in accordance with Health regulations.

Must obtain Food Handlers Certification, read recipes, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment. 18+ years old with strong teamwork and computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in general computer knowledge.
• Demonstrates clear articulation of information.
• Desire to serve all guests.

Responsabilités

• Prepares meals in accordance with brand standards.
• Comply with certification requirements including Food Handlers Training.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization per State Board of Health regulations.
• Completes necessary food and station preparations before opening.
• Knows location and operation of safety equipment.
• Assists in storage and rotation of food items per hotel procedures.
• Ensures cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in kitchen while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratio.
• Other duties as assigned.
