Job summary

KL Tech in White Plains, NY is hiring a Level 1 IT Technician to be the frontline face of the company, handling phone support, triage, and on-site field work across the NY Metro area. You will be trained, and KL Tech pays for role-specific certifications, supporting your growth from Level 1 to Level 2 and beyond.

As part of a full-time, on-site role, you’ll work Monday–Friday with travel to client offices, learning Autotask, Datto RMM, IT Glue, and Microsoft 365 environments while advancing

Qualifications

• 1–2 years IT support experience (internships or school help desks count).
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, Wi-Fi).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent; lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Frontline support & triage: handle calls, gather troubleshooting info, route issues.
• Help desk problem solving: password resets, MFA, Outlook, printers, basic network issues.
• Workstation configuration: deploy PCs/laptops using Intune, Autopilot, updates.
• On-site field visits: travel to client offices across NY Metro for hands-on support.
