Job summary

Old Dominion Mechanical is seeking a motivated, technically inclined candidate to join the IT Department as an IT Support Specialist. The role focuses on day-to-day technology support, preparing devices for new employees, and learning core IT systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include setting up devices, configuring accounts, providing first-line support, asset management, and learning Active Directory, networking, and security tools.

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with device inventory, equipment tracking, and asset management.
• Learn and support systems including Active Directory, networking, security tools, and company applications.
• Work with the IT team to maintain system security and user access standards.
• Help document IT procedures and support processes.
• Escalate complex technical issues when needed while continuing to learn and develop technical skills.
