Job summary

Candidates should be proficient in Windows and Linux and in programming languages including Python, HTML5, JavaScript, Java, PHP, C/C++, Perl, Bash and PowerShell, with knowledge of networking

Qualifications

• Provide IT engineering support and leadership for campus partners and departments.
• Support rollouts and ongoing maintenance of electronic work order systems.
• Manage Smart Buildings and IoT systems.
• Strong knowledge in application-based system administration and database support.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Programming and scripting knowledge including Python, HTML5, JavaScript, Java, PHP, C/C++, Perl, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, ARP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, subnetting, ACLs, and firewalls.
• Experience with CBORD's CS-Gold application and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like FM:Systems.
• Basic understanding of DDC controllers, BacNet, Lon, and Siemens communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT engineering support and leadership across campus departments and partner with stakeholders.

• Manage Smart Buildings and IoT systems to ensure reliability and security.
