Job summary

Westman Atelier in New York City seeks an entry-to-junior IT support professional to provide day-to-day technical assistance, ensure access to tools, and support onboarding/offboarding whilst coordinating with external IT vendors. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, 1–3 years of experience, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 1-3 years of IT support, help desk, technical support, or related role; internship or hands-on experience considered.
• Strong proficiency with Apple/macOS and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-based productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom) and common workplace applications.
• Strong understanding of office networking, Wi-Fi configuration, VPNs, and device management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary first-line technical support to corporate and retail employees across Mac and PC environments.
• Provide on-site support in our NYC office for hardware setups, printer/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and other tech needs.
• Respond to and prioritize IT support tickets based on impact and urgency.
• Set up, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot workplace hardware and devices.
• Escalate complex issues to external IT partners while maintaining ownership through resolution.
• Document recurring IT issues and SOPs to streamline internal IT operations.
