IT Support Specialist | New York City | On-Site
We're partnering with a fast-growing technology company in New York to hire an IT Support Specialist to support its internal IT infrastructure, endpoint environment and SaaS ecosystem.
This is an opportunity for an early-career IT professional to gain hands-on exposure across endpoint management, identity and access management, networking, SaaS administration and hardware infrastructure within a fast-paced technical environment.
Technical responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot Windows and macOS hardware, operating system, software and connectivity issues.
- Support endpoint provisioning, configuration and device management across Windows and Apple environments.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, authentication and access policies.
- Support identity and access management across Okta and Google Workspace.
- Work with MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune and Apple device management solutions.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and office infrastructure, including Cisco Meraki.
- Support SaaS application administration, user provisioning and access management.
- Manage device deployment, IT asset inventory and hardware lifecycle processes.
- Diagnose technical issues methodically, identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes rather than temporary workarounds.
What they’re looking for:
- A bachelor’s degree.
- 2–6 years of professional experience in IT support or systems administration.
- A solid understanding of troubleshooting methodologies, operating systems, hardware and user environments.
- An interest in developing technical depth across MDM, IAM, networking and cloud-based applications.
- Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to investigate unfamiliar problems and explain the reasoning behind technical decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented approach to supporting end users.
- You don’t need to have worked with every technology in the environment. The priority is a strong technical foundation, genuine curiosity and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
The opportunity:
- New York City, 5 days on-site
- Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm
- Exposure to endpoint management, identity platforms, networking and SaaS infrastructure
- Potential to progress into L2 support, team leadership or a specialist technical function as the IT team expands.
