Nesco Resource in Glens Falls, NY is seeking an Entry-Level IT Help Desk / Support team member. This onsite role starts at $18–$19/hour and is a temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for a pay increase after conversion.

Work hours are M-F, 9am-5pm with flexible scheduling after training. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and internal staff, learning the company’s tools and helping users troubleshoot and navigate technology.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a role with interaction via phone, email or chat.
• Familiarity with IT concepts from coursework or training.
• IT certification such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide phone, online chat, and general customer support.
• Respond to customer questions and troubleshoot issues with web-based applications.
• Help customers understand and navigate new technology.
• Troubleshoot and document IT issues for proper resolution.
• Provide first-level support for software and web applications.
• Assist internal employees with workstation and other IT-related issues.
• Support network and user Help Desk requests.
• Help test web application updates before they go live.
• Document solutions and communicate technical information clearly.
