Job summary

Hangcha is seeking an entry-level Field Service Technician to support diagnostics, maintenance, and service repairs on Hangcha forklifts at national dealer accounts. You will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world field experience while working onsite, with exposure to lithium-ion battery tech, hydraulics, electricals, and mechanical systems.

Under supervision you will progressively take on more responsibilities and pursue certifications, with a development path into a full Field

Qualifications

• Associates degree or hands-on mechanical experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn electrical diagnostics and forklift systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with interest in hydraulics and lithium-ion tech.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics, inspections, and repairs.
• Learn to troubleshoot forklifts powered by Li-ion, gas, LP, and diesel.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections.
• Read schematics and diagrams for service tasks.
• Document services, repair findings, and parts used.
• Support quality investigations by gathering data and observations.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and teammates.
• Follow OSHA and safety policies; participate in trainings.
• Progress toward independent field tasks as skills grow.
