Job summary

Hangcha Group is seeking an Entry-Level Field Service Technician to join our LA Branch team in Chino, CA. This role provides hands-on training supporting diagnostics, maintenance, and service repairs of Hangcha forklifts at national dealer accounts.

You will gain exposure to lithium-ion battery tech, hydraulics, electricals, and general forklift operations, with a clear developmental path toward a full Field Service Technician role.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or hands-on mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with interest in electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with forklifts or industrial equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to learn electrical diagnostics and forklift control systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics, inspections, and repairs of Hangcha forklifts.
• Learn to troubleshoot battery-powered and conventional forklifts (lithium-ion, gas, LP, diesel).
• Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
• Document services, repairs, and parts usage.
• Support quality investigations by gathering data and reporting observations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, technicians, and internal teams.
• Follow OSHA and safety policies and participate in trainings.
• Progressively take on tasks as skills develop.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
