Job summary

Hangcha is seeking an Entry-Level Field Service Technician in Chino, CA to join our customer care team. The role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience diagnosing, repairing, and servicing Hangcha forklifts and related equipment on-site at national dealer accounts.

You will learn to troubleshoot battery-powered, lithium-ion, electric and internal combustion forklifts, read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and document service activities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or hands-on mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with interest in electrical systems, hydraulics, and lithium-ion technology.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior Field Service Technicians with diagnostics, inspections, and repairs of Hangcha forklifts.
• Learn to troubleshoot battery-powered, lithium-ion, gas, LP, and diesel-powered forklifts.
• Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Learn to read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
• Assist with documentation of services, repair findings, and parts use.
• Support quality investigations by gathering data and reporting observations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, technicians and internal departments.
• Follow OSHA and company safety policies and participate in safety trainings.
• Progressively take on independent tasks as skills develop.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
