Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician who will grow technical skills while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Based primarily at a local service center, the role may include mobile service, remote work, and plant support as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive experience in a shop or technical environment.
• Basic exposure to electric vehicle (EV) / hybrid frameworks or startup environments is a plus.
• Graduation from an accredited automotive repair school/program is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship of senior technicians.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind; utilize available technical resources.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety after service.
• Assist with day-to-day parts operations, inventory tracking, and related reporting.
• Maintain thorough technical notes and documentation for completed and in-progress repairs.
