Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to grow technical skills while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work under senior technicians to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations at a local service center, with potential remote work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or recognized equivalency credential preferred.
• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with clean record (past 3–5 years).
• Ability to drive a non-commercial truck and trailer is preferred.
• 40-hour standard workweek with possible weekends/shift variations.
• Willingness to travel to regional locations or production facilities as needed.
• Proficient with laptops/computers in Windows or Mac environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers, on mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Perform road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory, and expense reporting.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and documentation for all repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers, families, and suppliers at facilities or outreach events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns and training to grow skills.
