CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group in New York. This role offers recent graduates a path to apply engineering skills to sustainable water projects and grow within a dynamic team.

Under direct supervision you will assist in designing water and wastewater facilities, sewer systems and pipelines, conduct site assessments, and perform water quality analyses and modeling, with opportunities to participate in fieldwork

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline; 0 years.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency varies with duties.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support design and implementation of water and wastewater facilities, sewers, pipelines.
• Conduct site assessments and adjust design parameters as needed.
• Perform water quality analyses and modeling.
• Prepare technical reports and present to clients and at conferences.
• Create documents and presentations using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, and Excel.
• Potential fieldwork supporting construction management activities.
