Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. The role offers opportunities to work on water/wastewater projects, perform modeling, design support, and field coordination with experienced engineers.

You will contribute to site assessments, design development, and preparing technical reports while using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD and Excel to support project design and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline; travel up to 10%.
• 0 years of experience required but equivalent related experience considered.
• Familiarity with basic CAD drafting and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design and implementation of water and wastewater facilities.
• Assist with site assessments, design development and parameter adjustments.
• Perform water quality analyses and hydraulic modeling.
• Prepare technical reports and client presentations.
• Use ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD and Excel for design and analysis.
• Coordinate field and office activities for rehabilitation projects.
