Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an entry‑level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. This role offers recent graduates a chance to work on water and wastewater projects, supporting planning, design, and implementation of facilities, sewer systems, pipelines and related infrastructure.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers to develop solutions that meet client needs and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, gaining hands‑on experience

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support site assessments and water quality analyses.
• Assist engineering modeling and parameter adjustments.
• Prepare technical reports, project docs and client presentations.
• Use ArcGIS, HEC‑RAS, SWMM, CAD and Excel to support design work.
• Collaborate with engineers across the project lifecycle.
• Participate in fieldwork and construction management activities.
